In case of illness, contact daniela@climbing4life.com with a medical certificate and we will help you with rebooking/cancellation at no extra cost.
3. Insurance, Travel Insurance and Cancellation Protection
Climbing4Life requires that the customer is a member of a climbing club affiliated with the Swedish Climbing Association, where insurance is included. In the event of a participant's illness or accident that requires evacuation and/or repatriation of participants, the payment responsibility for these services rests entirely with the participant themselves.
When traveling, Climbing4Life recommends that the customer take out their own travel insurance and cancellation protection before the trip.
4. Health
To complete a course/trip with Climbing4Life, you need to be in generally good health. If you have medical problems or need special diet/medication, it is important that you contact Climbing4Life well in advance of the course start/departure. If you are unsure or have questions about the fitness level required, please consult Climbing4Life.
Please note that at any time during the course/trip, the leader has the right to declare a participant unable to complete the course/trip if the health of the participant or other participants is at risk. You may also not, under any circumstances, violate the law during the course/trip or against the rules set for the course/trip. Should this occur, we will immediately cancel your participation in the course/trip and no refund will be made.
By booking a course/trip, the participant certifies that he or she does not suffer from physical or mental problems that could endanger the health of the participant or other participants. In the event of illness or accident during the course/trip, the participant is responsible for the costs incurred. The course/trip will continue as planned and the participant is welcome to return to the course/trip if possible before the end of the course/trip if the participant recovers.
5. Possible price changes during the trip
Climbing4Life has the right to change the price of a trip if, for example, transportation costs or exchange rates change. Any price changes will be announced before the trip.
6. Changes to itinerary and delays
Changes to itinerary may occur if necessary. If a course/trip is delayed, or if the itinerary of a course/trip must be changed due to bad weather, road conditions, delays of transport vehicles, government intervention or other eventualities beyond Climbing4Life's control, the cost of these delays and changes is not included in the price.
7. Cancellation of course/trip
Climbing4Life has the right to cancel a course/trip if necessary. Climbing4Life will then refund the full price of the course/trip but will not be responsible for related expenses such as travel costs (flight and transport), cancellation fees for hotels, rental cars, etc.
8. Limitation of Liability
Climbing4Life does not assume any liability for additional costs, personal injury, loss or damage to belongings that are a direct result of natural disaster, delay, quarantine, strike, theft, shoplifting, terrorism or other circumstances beyond our control. Changes to the itinerary may be made to adapt the course/trip to the circumstances. In the event of a participant’s illness or accident requiring evacuation and/or repatriation of the participant, the payment responsibility for these services rests entirely with the participant. Climbing4Life advises you to take out travel and accident insurance to cover costs in such a situation. If the participant has not taken out such insurance, the payment responsibility still rests with the participant and Climbing4Life disclaims all liability.
A participant who books a course/trip and submits a signed booking form must agree to these special terms and conditions.
